Autumn Exploration Workshop

Almost lost in the colorful haze of October foliage, three figures explore the meadow lands.
The trees are painted in a semi-transparent fashion almost as though they are about to disappear into the misty distance. The figures are simple shapes with almost no detail. They are inspired by the work of the late Frederick Wong.
Can we, as painters, solve the mystery of this scene? Washes, dry brushing, pen painting and sponges all help to create the solution to this painting.
So that you can enjoy painting even while we’re asked to stay at home, the packet for this painting with
instructions will be available as a paint-at-home project.
If you would like to try it, contact me. I will email the packet to you and be available for your questions. Just let me know.
