Drying Nets Workshop

Their netting festooned across drying poles, fishermen work hastily to stay ahead of the changing weather. Subtle shadows are cast on the partially wet sand.   The challenges in this work will be different, though the techniques are similar: Wet-into-wet, dry brush, pen painting and careful drawing. This one will be a lot of fun.

Working Village Workshop

Early morning on a quiet New England bay, a fishing village waits for the sun. This project is made up of painted shapes, careful line work and straight washes.

Country Barn Workshop

Midday spring sunlight streams across the hillside and illuminates this weathered barn. Framing birches cast shadows that hint at a change in the forecast. This project uses wet-into-wet, pen work, masking and dry brush techniques.
